What is NLP?
See this article for a definition of NLP.
What is a session with Bob like?
Let’s take a weight loss session for example. Other sessions follow a similar path. The session starts off with about 20 minutes of gathering information. Then we launch into finding what level the issue is on. An issue that is about a person’s identity is treated a lot different than someone’s behavioral habit. For example, changing the person’s lifelong held limiting belief that they are not good enough to get what they want in life requires a more powerful process than a simple compulsion to eat chocolate. In the first weight loss sessions, these limiting beliefs are brought to the surface and dealt with so that the remaining habits can be changed.
After we know what level the issue is on, we take the remainder of the ninety minutes to do a technique that changes the person’s issue that they brought in for the session. The client always has the answers, and the sessions are about unlocking the hidden potential in the client that will propel them through their issue. The first session is free right now, so people can try it out. Each person who receives a session is met with deep acknowledgement and care, the client always has the answers in their subconscious mind, it’s just about having those resources applied in the right contexts.
How many sessions does it take to get results?
It depends on the issue. Weight loss usually takes several sessions. Health issues also sometimes take several sessions. Simpler goals can be achieved quickly. For example, a few compulsions (to a few different foods) can be done in one session if there are no beliefs under them. I’ve had weight loss clients that were finished in two sessions, and some people have gone much longer than six sessions. Six sessions is enough to see good results when it comes to weight loss.
What are limiting beliefs?
Limiting beliefs, also called imprints, are clusters of negative filters that we take from our parents when we are very young. Whatever limiting beliefs the parents have, one by one they get passed on to the children in negative experiences. These negative filters are literally like glasses or filters that maintain the person’s reality. Most limiting beliefs form between conception and seven years old. Limiting beliefs, and the positive ones we get as well, directly shape our reality and how we work as a human being. Fortunately, early on in NLP some brilliant people found that beliefs are changeable. Bob uses the tool “reimprinting” to change these deep negative filters. In weight loss, there’s usually at least one of these lingering that has to be dealt with before other work can be done. Fortunately, the person usually automatically drops some weight just by changing one or more limiting beliefs. Belief work is the deepest and most transformative work we do, it is very powerful.
Does NLP work with everyone?
NLP works with everyone as long as they can function at all. There are some people who are more analytical that are more difficult to work with, but hypnotic language patterns tend to help with that. Although Bob doesn’t work with everyone, they have to be motivated and open. Almost all people who are overweight that really desire a change are good candidates for the work that Bob does.
How does NLP Coaching Work by Phone
Work by phone or by skype is a lot like working in person, and virtually everything that can be done in person can be done by phone. Sample sessions, gathering information, and NLP process work is done the same. I still take 20 minutes to gather information, analyze the goal and issue, and apply an appropriate technique. My rates are the same. People from other states or other countries are welcome to have a 90 minute sample session.
What Type of Payments do you Accept
I try to make payment as easy as possible. I take Visa/Mastercard debit cards, credit cards (Visa and Mastercard), check, money order, cash, or payment plan (payment plans are on a case by case basis)
